Pink Valley Rosé 2021

The Pink Valley rosé bottles contain one of four labels that feature the Walking Feathers by South African artist, Walter Battiss. This rosé-only producing farm is owned by the Oddo family who started the South African venture, alongside many other international ventures, with the aim to make rosé. The 9 hectares of vineyards in Stellenbosch were planted specifically for producing rosé wines.

In the glass, this wine has an extremely light salmon colour. Elegant notes of green melon, tropical fruit and lemon peel are evident on the nose. On the palate, this wine is fresh and vibrant with an elegant medley of red fruit on the mid-palate. Due to lees contact, the mouthfeel of this wine is soft but the acidity is crisp.

This wine should be served chilled and will work well with seafood dishes and a Mediterranean platter.
