Du Toitskloof Quest Chenin Blanc 2019

Writer's picture: Jaco MeyerJaco Meyer

Quest is the boutique branch of Du Toitskloof wines. One of the comments I had from someone who attended the tasting was: "This is the best Chenin I've had in my life!" The moment you smell this wine, you know that you have something special in your glass. It is a very fruit-forward wine with tropical fruits, pineapple, apricot and hints of honey and citrus. It has a directed acidity with a great structure and bold fruitiness. It lingers on the palate for a while and finishes off softly with the honey and lime notes.

The rich and creamy mouthfeel is a result of bâtonnage that is a prominent feature in this wine. This Chenin Blanc is medium-bodied and will not disappoint, whether you have it on its own or pair it with food. It is great value for money. This wine is available from Partners in Wine.
