Jan Harmsgat Pinotage 2020

The Jan Harmsgat Pinotage is one of their best red wines. It is a great wine that brings forth the best that the Pinotage variety has to offer.

It has a deep red colour with a dark centre. On the nose, it is forthcoming with red berries on the foreground, cherries and wood spices coming through. It delivers on the palate with red cherries, oak spice and green and black pepper. It ends with a fruitiness and cigar box aftertaste. This complex wine offers enough for the person who identifies the detail in their wine, but it also has an elegant touch to it with ripe tannins that soften as the wine develops on the palate.

This is a wine that does not stand back for anything. It is a must try. About 5000 bottles have been produced.
