Kleine Zalze is known for their selection of Cap Classique wines. This is one of their sweeter style wines. In the glass, it has a pale-yellow colour with lively bubbles. The nose offers an exciting combination of lemon zest, apricots and flowers. The palate is off-dry with a good zesty acidity, fresh peaches, apricots, elderflower and pineapple. Towards the finish, more hints of biscotti and roasted almonds come forward. It has a good finish that is fruity and sweet.
This wine can be an ideal wine for those who prefer a slightly sweeter, but not too sweet, wine. For those who like their drier Cap Classique wines, this will do well as a dessert-style wine. It is good value for money.
