Patricius Tokaji Aszu 5 Puttonyos 2017

This wine has a gold yellow colour and seems 'thick' in the glass. It is not shy on the nose and has notes of honey, peaches, white flowers and a slight indication of green herbs.

The entry of this wine concentrates around the side and back of the palate due to a good acidity, but soon develops further with a sweetness on the tip of the tongue and fruitiness and honey on the middle palate.

This is a well balanced wine with the perfect sweetness and sourness, against a subtle herbaceous hint. It starts to focus more on the middle palate and has a brief freshness before it develops into something more complex. It leaves an aftertaste of almonds and flowers.

It is a good example of Tokaji sweet wine.
