Reyneke Organic Chenin Blanc 2024

The Reyneke Organic Chenin Blanc is an entry-level Chenin Blanc under the Reyneke label and it is widely available. This wine, that has been farmed according to organic guidelines, has a pale-yellow colour in the glass. The nose is somewhat shy, with some notes of fresh peaches and stone fruit. It has a soft entry and is a light-bodied wine, offering notes of fresh peaches, ripe green lemon, white pear, quince and honey. Hints of baked apple and hazelnuts are in the far background. It has a medium acidity and a short finish, leaving notes of the pear and quince behind on the palate.

This is an easy-drinking wine that can be enjoyed on its own or with some light foods. It should be served cold and is ready to drink now or within the next two years.
